How do I clear the cache in my browser?
The following instructions are valid for the latest versions of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer. For instructions on clearing the cache in earlier versions of these browsers, please refer to the Help option in the Menu Bar of your browser.

Netscape® Communicator 4 (and above)

  1. Click the Edit option on the Menu bar, then Preferences.

  2. Click the Clear History button, then the OK button.

  3. Under Category: on the left, click the + sign by Advanced.

  4. Click the Cache option

  5. Click the Clear Memory Cache button, then the OK button.

  6. Click the Clear Disk Cache button, then the OK button.

  7. Click the Cancel button.


  8. Close the browser and re-open it.
The cache is now cleared.

Microsoft® Internet Explorer 4.0 (and above)

  1. Click the View option on the Menu bar, then select Internet Options.

  2. Click the Delete Files button, then click the OK button.

  3. Click the Clear History button, then click the Yes button.

  4. Click the OK button.


  5. Close the browser and re-open it.
The cache is now cleared.
